Job summary

Bluefors Cryocooler Technologies, Inc. in Syracuse, NY is seeking a Stockroom Associate to support manufacturing by receiving, organizing, and moving materials throughout the facility.

The role requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-tech environment. Duties include inspecting deliveries, verifying part numbers and purchase orders, using our ERP system to pick and issue materials, and supporting FIFO stock practices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 1–3 months of related experience or training preferred.
• Experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment preferred.
• Experience with ERP systems preferred.
• Familiarity with FIFO inventory management practices preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to operate forklifts, chain hoists, hand trucks, or learn to operate them.
• Customer-service mindset and ability to support internal production teams.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to adapt to changing priorities and take on additional responsibilities.
• Commitment to safety and alignment with company values.

Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect incoming deliveries from parcel and common carriers.
• Verify shipment contents, part numbers, quantities, and purchase order information.
• Identify and document damaged materials and notify appropriate teams.
• Use the ERP system to pick and issue materials for production.
• Deliver parts and bins to production teams throughout the manufacturing area.
• Use hand scanners to issue and transfer materials as needed.
• Support FIFO inventory practices.
• Communicate current and potential stock-outs to appropriate teams.
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment.
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse according to department guidelines.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
