Bluefors in Syracuse, NY is seeking a Stockroom Associate to support our manufacturing operations. You will receive, inspect, and issue materials using our ERP system, while maintaining FIFO inventory and a clean warehouse.

The role requires a HS diploma or GED with related experience; uptime, accuracy, and strong communication are essential. Forklift operation and adaptability to a dynamic environment are valued as part of our team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 1–3 months of related experience or training preferred.
• Experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment preferred.
• Experience working with an ERP system preferred.
• Familiarity with FIFO inventory management practices preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to operate or learn to operate forklifts, chain hoists, hand trucks, and similar equipment.
• Customer-service mindset and ability to support internal production teams.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to adapt to changing priorities and take on additional responsibilities.
• Commitment to safety and alignment with company values.

Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect incoming deliveries.
• Verify shipment contents, part numbers, quantities, and PO information.
• Identify and document damaged materials and notify appropriate teams.
• Use the ERP system to pick and issue materials for production.
• Deliver parts and bins to production teams.
• Use hand scanners to issue and transfer materials.
• Support FIFO inventory practices.
• Communicate stock-outs to appropriate teams.
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment.
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
