Job summary

Aurora Organic Dairy is seeking a Material Handler to manage incoming raw materials, chemicals and supplies, log them, and oversee their distribution in the dry storage area.

You will stage materials for daily production runs, maintain FIFO, operate Stand-up and Bendi forklifts, keep trailer inventory current, and support production operations while upholding HACCP and SQF programs. Proficiency with ERP, scan guns, and Excel is preferred.

Qualifications

• Dry warehouse experience preferred.
• Experience with Stand-Up forklift trucks and Bendi Articulated fork trucks a must.
• Inventory management experience in a production environment preferred.
• Ability to use scan gun to receive and move pallets as well as learn and become proficient in company’s ERP system.
• Microsoft Office and proficient in Excel preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming shipments of raw materials, maintenance parts, lab supplies, chemicals and all deliveries.
• Log-in all deliveries, receive raw materials into the inventory system, log all other packages and deliver to department or addressee.
• Maintain organization of the warehouse so all materials are used FIFO and QA paperwork is completed.
• Stage cartons and materials for each day’s production run; complete powder tracking log and staging forms.
• Maintain yard inventory of all supplier and AOD owned trailers; conduct 2x weekly trailer sweeps.
• Operate stand-up and Bendi forklifts to retrieve/put away pallets up to 24 feet.
