Job summary

PROENERGY in Sedalia, MO seeks a Material Handler to load, unload, and move materials within the plant and yard, performing shipping, receiving, inspecting, storing, issuing and delivering items. Responsibilities include counting and weighing items, preparing shipments, operating forklifts and pallet jacks, and maintaining accurate paperwork.

Requires 1 year shipping/receiving experience and fluent English; background check and drug screen required.

Qualifications

• One year of shipping/receiving experience or equivalent.
• Technical competence (understand software, hardware, networks, etc).
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently.
• US work authorization required; sponsorship not offered.
• Background check and pre-employment drug screen required.

Responsibilities

• Counts, weighs or measures items and verifies against records.
• Prepares shipments and bills of lading; routes and rates determination.
• Operates forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
• Provides on-the-job training and assists with routing and inventory tasks.
• Delivers and returns items; ensures proper cargo securing.
• Fills orders and maintains required shipping documentation.
