Job summary

Wood Systems Inc. in Tulsa, OK is seeking a reliable Materials Handler to ensure successful receiving, checking, picking and loading of materials.

Duties include unloading inbound freight, verifying orders, recording damages, and obtaining the driver’s signature on the bill of lading. You will also assemble store shipments by palletizing, shrink-wrapping and labeling units, inspect shipments for proper covering and strapping, and operate a forklift to stock and stage materials for production.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift and carry objects weighing up to 60 lbs.
• Ability to work on your feet for long periods in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to work at a fast pace and in a team.
• Forklift operation experience or training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Unloads inbound freight and verifies material against the order.
• Records damages or shortages and obtains driver signature on bill of lading.
• Assembles store shipments by palletizing, shrink-wrapping and labeling units.
• Inspects shipments to ensure secure covering and proper strapping.
