Wood Systems Inc., a Mill Creek Lumber & Supply Company is looking for a reliable Materials Handler to ensure successful receiving, checking, picking and loading of materials.****Job Location:**4615 S 49th West Ave, Tulsa, OK 74107**Duties and Responsibilities:*** Unloads in-bound freight, verifies the material matches the order and records any damages or shortages.* Obtains driver s signature on bill of lading.* Assembles store shipments by palletizing, shrink wrapping and labeling the units.* Inspects the shipment, ensuring it is securely covered and strapped.* Build Millwork material packages by hand* Operate a forklift, stock and stage materials for manufacturing. (Forklift Training Available)* Ensure cleanliness by removing all waste from the facility* Cycle counts/inventory monitoring* Keep materials organized, safe and ready for production* Follow all safety policies!**Safety:*** Adheres to safety requirements when operating tools and equipment.* Ensures safety functions on equipment are operating properly.* Handles material in a safe and appropriate manner.* Reports any defects or safety issues immediately.* Completes required safety training.* Inspects the shipment, ensuring it is securely covered and strapped.## Qualifications* Responsible for performing the physical tasks involved in the receiving, checking, picking and loading of material to and from trucks and warehouse.* Ensures store shipments are assembled correctly and material is restocked to and from warehouse areas.* Previous experience in a warehouse environment is preferred, but not required* Ability to work 50+ hours per week (5 to 6 days per week)* Knowledge and expertise in the use of a variety of tools* Ability to do repetitious work* Must be able to work at a fast pace* Ability to work in a team environment**Physical Demands:**The physical demands described below are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
