Job summary

Mill Creek Lumber and Supply Company in Oklahoma City is seeking a Materials Handler to join our warehouse team. You will receive, inspect, and unload materials, record inventory, pick and pack orders, and prepare shipments while keeping safety and quality at the forefront.

The role requires a high school diploma, forklift certification, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and basic computer skills for inventory systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior warehouse or materials handling experience preferred.
• Forklift certification and ability to operate material handling equipment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Basic computer skills for inventory management and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and unload incoming materials following safety guidelines.
• Record and update inventory levels in the warehouse management system.
• Assemble and package customer orders by picking, packing, and labeling materials.
• Operate forklifts and material handling equipment to move items within the warehouse.
• Inspect materials for quality and report issues.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow safety protocols.
• Prepare documentation such as receiving reports and inventory records.
• Collaborate with colleagues and other departments to ensure smooth workflow.
