Job summary

nVent is seeking a meticulous Materials Runner to join our manufacturing team. You will help ensure flawless operations, maintain a clean, organized workspace, and support cross-functional teams in a dynamic industrial setting.

Responsibilities include pulling parts, replenishing carts, loading pipe racks, cutting insulation, handling pallets, and assisting with ERP system transitions. A high school diploma and strong reading/comprehension skills are required, with forklift certification a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Ability to read and interpret general business documents.
• Effective verbal and written communication across the organization.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; ERP system knowledge a plus.
• Valid Wisconsin Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve parts and materials for installers.
• Replenish carts with necessary materials daily.
• Load pipe racks efficiently.
• Cut and stage insulation.
• Assist in material process transitions to ERP system.
• Maintain pallets and crates for return to suppliers.
• Dispose of crates/pallets not returnable in dumpster.
• Build crates for service and warranty as needed.
• Support team to ensure the group’s success.
• Encourage a safe, collaborative workplace.
