Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure, a CRH Company, is seeking a Material Handler to join our plant team. The role focuses on maintaining orderliness, cleanliness, and safety while supporting daily production activities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include following supervisor directions, coordinating with team leads, checking bill of materials, loading materials from vendors, and ensuring ready availability to minimize startup time. The position emphasizes accuracy and physical capability.

Qualifications

• Good reading and writing skills essential.
• Ability to read a tape measure, calipers a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Listen and follow the direction of the plant supervisors.
• Work alongside team leads to have up to date information of jobs needing prepared.
• Follow work order instructions carefully as to proper part numbers, quantities and percentages required in bill of materials for each job.
• Off load material arriving from vendors.
• Ensure materials are available and ready, to reduce start up time.
• Ensure yard is organized and free of obstructions.
• Verify material type, thickness, and size.
• Other duties as assigned.
