Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure, a CRH company, is seeking a Material Handler in Azusa, CA to maintain orderly, safe plant operations. You will assist with material prep, verify part numbers, and support supervisors and team leads to ensure on-time production.

The role emphasizes safety, accuracy in bill of materials, and active participation in a fast-paced environment. Training provided; benefits include health/dental coverage, 401(k), PTO, and holidays.

• Previous forklift experience essential.
• Ability to read a tape measure, calipers a plus.

Responsibilities

• Listen and follow the direction of the plant supervisors.
• Work alongside team leads to have up-to-date information of jobs needing prepared.
• Follow work order instructions carefully as to proper part numbers, quantities and percentages required in bill of materials for each job.
• Off load material arriving from vendors.
• Ensure materials are available and ready, to reduce start up time.
• Ensure yard is organized and free of obstructions.
• Verify material type, thickness, and size.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Summary

The Material Handler participates with a positive attitude while working with fellow team members to ensure plant orderliness, cleanliness and safety.
