Job summary

Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope is seeking a Materials Handler to maintain department cleanliness, orderliness, and safety while ensuring accurate data recording. The typical schedule is Monday-Thursday 6:00am - 4:00pm and involves assisting with inventory organization and item retrieval for production.

In this role you will follow directions from the Production Supervisor, work with senior team members, and help maintain efficient materials flow.

Qualifications

• Follow all safety policies & procedures as a prerequisite to employment.
• Able to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Able to write and do basic math.
• Basic computer skills or willing to learn.
• Must be able to read a tape measure.
• Must be able to work well with others.

Responsibilities

• Listen and follow the direction of the Production Supervisor, and take guidance from senior team members
• Assist with the physical organization of inventory
• Return inventory items to the proper locations
• Assist materials handlers with picking items required for production
