Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our team. This role involves handling, organizing, and transporting materials efficiently while ensuring accuracy and safety in a warehouse or stockroom setting.

Responsibilities:

1. Operate a forklift safely and efficiently.
2. Store materials in an orderly and accessible manner in warehouses, supply rooms, or storage areas.
3. Pack and unpack materials for stocking or distribution.
4. Perform physical inventory checks of warehouse tools and materials.
5. Inspect incoming shipments for defects or damages and report issues to supervisors.
6. Verify the accuracy of shipments and maintain inventory records.
7. Distribute materials and supplies to designated locations.
8. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
9. Follow all safety regulations and procedures.

Experience & Qualifications:

1. High school diploma or GED preferred.
2. 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse, stockroom, or related field preferred.
3. Forklift operation experience is a plus.
4. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
5. Ability to solve problems and improve work processes proactively.
6. Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities with a positive attitude.
7. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
8. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
9. Basic math skills for inventory management and record-keeping.

Physical Requirements:

1. Frequent walking, standing, and manual handling of materials.
2. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and occasionally lift heavier loads.
3. Ability to crouch, stretch, and perform repetitive movements.
4. Comfortable working in a warehouse environment with exposure to varying conditions.

This position is based in a warehouse setting where teamwork and efficiency are essential.

Shift:

Monday – Thursday, 6:00 AM-4:30 PM
