Job summary

NextGenEnergyJobs in Fremont, CA is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support receiving, shipping, inventory control, and order fulfillment on a fast-paced production floor.

You will safely operate forklifts and scanners, pull and package materials, and help maintain accurate inventory records to support daily operations.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in warehouse, logistics, or a production environment.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, and perform heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs).
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with scanners and Oracle.
• Forklift certification is highly preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Receiving & Shipping: Unload delivery trucks and verify incoming shipments.
• Inventory Control: Track inventory levels and record product locations.
• Order Fulfillment: Pull and package materials for daily production or customer orders.
• Equipment Operation: Safely use forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
• Safety & Compliance: Follow safety regulations and keep the warehouse clean and organized.

Job description

• Receiving & Shipping: Unload delivery trucks, verify incoming shipments against purchase orders, and prepare outgoing products for secure transport.
• Inventory Control: Track inventory levels, record product locations, and participate in regular cycle counts or physical inventory checks to resolve discrepancies
• Order Fulfillment: Pull and package materials to support daily production lines or fulfill customer orders
• Equipment Operation: Safely utilize material handling equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks
• Safety & Compliance: Adhere to safety regulations, conduct pre-use equipment inspections, and maintain a clean, organized warehouse

Requirements
