Job summary

Healthy Kingsport is seeking a dependable Warehouse/Materials Handler to support production by moving materials, packaging finished goods, and keeping accurate counts. This role requires safe operation of forklift, sidewinder, combi, or other equipment and a commitment to following work protocols.

You will travel finished goods between Pultrusion and Shipping, assist with inventory tasks, and maintain ISO compliance.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent.
• Works well independently.
• Computer skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift, sidewinder, combi, or other equipment to move materials.
• Ensure finished bundles are packaged, counted, and labeled correctly.
• Travel finished goods between Pultrusion and Shipping.
• Assist with inventory tasks including sorting, labeling, and counting raw materials.
• Follow environmental and safety precautions and SDS.
• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
• Work with others in a cooperative fashion.
• Follow work protocols as required.
• ISO compliant.

Job description

• Operate forklift, sidewinder, combi, or other equipment necessary to move raw material and finished goods.
• Ensures traveled finished good bundles are packaged, counted, and labeled correctly.
• Travel finished goods between Pultrusion and Shipping
• Deliver any reclaim glass to the Material Prep Dept.
• Assists with inventory tasks including sorting, labeling, and counting raw materials.
• Flexible to change tasks at a moment’s notice when asked to do so by the shift Supervisor or Lead.
• Follows all environmental and safety precautions.
• Understands all safety data sheets
• Follows work protocols as required
• Maintain regular and predictable attendance
• Work with others in a cooperative fashion
• ISO compliant

OTHER DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Observes product inventory to ensure timely production.
• Positive communication with internal customers.
• Minimizes waste
• Effectively communicates production information to subsequent crews.
