Job summary

Oshkosh Delivery, based in Greer, SC, seeks a Group Lead- Materials for the 2nd shift to drive daily material KPIs and supervise a material support team. You will enforce SOPs, mentor staff, and manage data accuracy, downtime, and usage while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

You will coordinate with leadership, maintain 5S, and ensure safe, efficient dock operations for inbound/outbound material flows. This role emphasizes teamwork and quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• At least five years of applicable experience.
• Solid computer, math, and reading skills.
• Capable of leading projects and project teams.
• Ability to multi-task and adapt to changing environments.
• Ability to communicate with leadership in written and verbal forms.
• 6 months-1 year Materials Group experience.
• Ability to build team morale and promote people-first culture.
• Innovative/creative thinking.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Technology proficient.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate a team of Material support to meet daily and weekly material KPI.
• Ensure SOPs and safety rules are followed.
• Assign work tasks, monitor progress, and provide real-time feedback.
• Train and mentor new employees on equipment and processes.
• Maintain records of material data, downtime, and usage.
• Support continuous improvement and process enhancements.
• Communicate effectively with material activities.
• Maintain 5S and housekeeping standards.
• Perform trailer dock management inbound/outbound.
• Complete End of Shift Audit for next shift.
