Job summary

Generac is seeking a Materials Supervisor to oversee internal material flow from receiving to production, including picking, packing and shipping, de-trashing, and replenishment. The role focuses on continuous improvement in inventory accuracy, cycle counting, and on-time delivery, while optimizing labor use.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, plus 2 years of materials leadership and team management experience to drive KPI improvements across the site in Beaver Dam, WI.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
• 2 years of materials leadership experience.
• 2 years of leading teams, developing people or organizing tasks.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely material flow within the facility and timely delivery in receiving material from other locations as well as preparation for shipment of parts to other facilities.
• Develop and implement standard process and strategies that enable production efficiency improvements.
• Lead, supervise, and direct materials staff development through education, training, coaching, mentoring and certification.
• Manage and optimize daily warehousing operations including staging, cycle count, and storage of materials.
