Danfoss in Van Wert, OH is seeking a Material Handler to ensure materials and components reach production lines on time. You will receive, stock, retrieve, and stage parts, using handheld RF scanners to track quantities and part numbers, supporting smooth daily manufacturing.

This role emphasizes safety, organization, and efficient material flow. Starting pay is $17.00–$17.50 per hour with a $1.50 shift premium for 2nd and 3rd shifts, plus a sign-on bonus up to $2,500.

Qualifications

• Must hold a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to accurately interpret shop orders, part numbers, and fundamental instructions.
• Willingness to utilize or learn RF scanners and inventory management systems. Strong attention to detail and commitment to upholding safety standards.
• Ability to frequently lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
• Proficiency in both spoken and written English is essential. Candidates must possess legal authorization to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Provide materials and components to production lines to enable teams to achieve daily manufacturing goals.
• Receive, stock, retrieve, and stage parts to ensure inventory accuracy and organization.
• Utilize handheld RF scanners to locate, track, and confirm part numbers and quantities.
• Package, label, and prepare materials for internal production and outbound shipments.
• Keep work areas clean and organized to promote safety and efficient material flow.
