Job summary

Plastic Recycling, Inc. is seeking a Material Handler to oversee shipping and receiving, move materials between production areas, and support extrusion lines.

This role requires operating forklifts, maintaining accurate documentation, and ensuring safe, efficient material flow throughout the plant. Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma, a valid forklift certification, and 1–2 years of related experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid forklift certification and experience.
• 1–2 years of material handling, shipping/receiving, or warehouse operations.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions and safety guidelines.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Responsibilities

• Handle shipping, receiving, and inventory records accurately.
• Load raw material at the start of extrusion lines and package finished products at the end of lines.
• Move materials between production areas using forklifts or other equipment.
• Maintain organized storage areas and rotate inventory.
• Complete shipping, receiving, and inventory documentation.
• Follow safety protocols, inspect equipment daily, and report issues promptly.
