Job summary

Rolls-Royce is seeking a Material Handler for our Aiken, SC location. The role focuses on preparing and supplying materials to assembly lines, moving materials between storage locations, and maintaining accurate logs and build documents.

You will handle shipping/receiving duties for production and non-production materials while adhering to safety and quality standards. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of material handling/warehousing experience, and must be eligible to work in the U.S.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in material handling and/or warehousing.
• Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S without sponsorship. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.
• Preferred knowledge of manufacturing and production processes, raw materials, quality control, and costs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and supply material to assembly lines in accordance with the MTU America Material Flow Strategy.
• Move material between material storage locations, including shipping & receiving docks.
• Read and interpret standard work instructions and build documents.
• Inspect and maintain equipment logs as required.
• Perform all aspects of shipping & receiving of material and finished goods including production material, non-production material and completed engines.
