Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in material flow, logistics, or supply chain roles within a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and data analysis tools preferred.
• Travel: Up to 25% depending on business needs.
• Work Schedule: This position works between 6 am and 6 pm, Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities

• Material Flow Analysis & Optimization: Assess current material handling processes to identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks. Develop and implement strategies to streamline material flow, reduce waste, and improve throughput. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to design optimal layouts for material storage and movement.
• Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels to ensure alignment with production schedules and minimize stockouts or overstock situations. Coordinate with procurement and materials teams to manage material replenishment and storage solutions. Utilize ERP/WMS systems to track inventory movements and maintain accurate records.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with product development and procurement teams to plan material requirements for new OEM product launches. Work with engineering and operations to develop layout updates, workstation configurations, and internal logistics pathways to optimize space and movement. Participate in cross-departmental meetings to align material flow strategies with overall business objectives.
• Process Improvement & Continuous Development: Identify opportunities for process enhancements and lead initiatives to implement best practices in material handling. Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend innovative solutions. Provide training and support to team members on new processes and systems.
• Perform other related duties as required and assigned.
