Job summary

Confidential Careers in Texas is seeking a Materials & Scheduling Manager to own the flow of materials from receiving through warehouse storage, production support, WIP, packaging, and outbound shipment. Improve inventory accuracy, WIP visibility, and material movement with practical, scalable systems.

This hands-on leader will coach a growing team, build durable standards, and ensure on-time delivery in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. On-site role in the Greater College Station area.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in warehouse, logistics, materials, inventory, or related manufacturing leadership
• Strong manufacturing experience with material movement, WIP, production flow, and inventory accuracy
• Demonstrated understanding of pull systems in a manufacturing environment
• Experience improving cycle counts, ERP discipline, and SOPs
• Experience with Lean manufacturing principles including Kanban and 5S

Responsibilities

• Own material flow from receiving through warehouse storage, WIP movement, packaging, and shipping
• Improve inventory accuracy, cycle counting, ERP discipline, material traceability, and warehouse organization
• Strengthen material flow and pull systems to improve visibility and reduce unnecessary movement
• Simplify processes and support stronger pull systems, visual management, SOPs, and warehouse standards
• Lead receiving, warehouse, scheduling, packaging, and shipping with clear accountability
• Partner cross-functionally on material flow, lead times, rush orders, and execution priorities
• Lead, coach, and develop team members across shipping, receiving, warehouse, and scheduling
• Maintain production schedule and surface conflicts early for action
