Job summary

CTDI in Flower Mound, TX is seeking a Materials Coordinator to manage requisition processing and ensure timely delivery of finished goods and materials. This on-site role supports multiple departments and emphasizes accuracy and efficiency.

You will monitor inventory levels, coordinate with purchasing, handle shipping/receiving, cycle counts, and maintain inventory records. The position is 1st shift, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with pay at $16.58 per hour and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Understanding and proficiency in overseeing product flow processes and troubleshooting material handling and distribution.
• Working knowledge of inventory management systems.
• Understanding of Six Sigma/LEAN concepts.
• Ability to prioritize workflow and meet deadlines.
• Capable of independent work and teamwork.
• Effective written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all operations within the materials department to ensure timely delivery of goods.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with purchasing to maintain adequate parts and materials.
• Process requests efficiently so departments receive goods promptly.
• Keep production flowing by ensuring materials are on hand at all times.
• Communicate with customers to meet turnaround expectations.
• Handle shipping and receiving to and from branches and vendors.
• Perform cycle counts and reconcile variances.
• Maintain accurate records of materials received and distributed.
• Inspect and verify quality and quantity of received materials.
• Coordinate development and implementation of new processes as needed.
• Communicate with departments to understand material needs.
• Comply with quality and safety standards.
