Job summary

SMV MANAGEMENT LLC is seeking a material handler to manage movement, storage, and tracking of materials in a fast-paced plant. You will ensure right parts are available for production and maintain accurate inventory records.

Responsibilities include receiving, inspecting, labeling, and organizing materials, coordinating with maintenance, and upholding safety standards. A minimum of three years in warehousing is required, with forklift experience and basic computer/inventory system skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of three years of material handling, warehouse or inventory control experience.
• Experience operating forklifts or other material handling equipment.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory systems.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials against POs or packing slips.
• Oversee safe movement of materials to storage areas or production lines.
• Perform quarterly inventory and maintain accurate records.
• Label, organize, and store materials for accessibility and rotation.
• Coordinate with maintenance to ensure proper equipment upkeep.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards for material handling.
• Process material movement forms and requisitions.
