Job summary

Flex is seeking a Materials Coordinator in Dallas, Texas to coordinate material flow and support production schedules. Reporting to the Planning Supervisor, you will expedite materials across departments and keep ERP data up to date.

The role runs Monday–Friday, 2:30 PM–11:00 PM, with responsibilities to monitor lead times and maintain open communication with buyers, planners, and production teams.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a warehouse/manufacturing setting.
• 1+ years in planning, customer service, production, inventory, logistics or expediting.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel and Outlook).
• MRP/ERP systems experience preferred.
• Typing speed of 120 WPM preferred.
• Bilingual preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Buyers and Planners to meet material needs for production.
• Follow up with vendors and buyers on lead times; arrange delivery dates.
• Address items short by collaborating with purchasing and engineering.
• Update material status and ETAs in the ERP system.
• Notify project and production managers of issues and shortages.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
