Job summary

Aerotek is seeking a Material Coordinator / Manufacturing Expeditor for its Clayton, NC operation. You will manage materials, ensure availability for production, and oversee ~1,200 active work orders to keep schedules on track.

You will work with Purchasing, Materials Management, and inventory teams; leverage ERP/MRP and advanced Excel for reporting and analysis; and participate in cycle counts to improve accuracy and reduce shortages.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Manufacturing Expeditor or similar in manufacturing.
• Experience with fabrication/metal manufacturing environments.
• Strong proficiency with ERP/MRP systems for work orders and inventory.
• Advanced Excel data tracking, reporting, and analysis.
• Experience managing large volumes of work orders.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate movement and availability of materials to support production.
• Track ~1,200 active work orders for on-time completion.
• Resolve material shortages and rework issues to prevent delays.
• Collaborate with Purchasing and Materials Management to order and replenish parts.
• Maintain accurate work order status and inventory in ERP/MRP.
• Support cycle counts and inventory reconciliation.
