Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• 3+ years in material management or supply chain logistics in manufacturing.
• Willing to travel monthly to suppliers.
• Proficient with Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, macros).
• Ability to obtain secret or higher DoD clearance.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to resolve shortages or delays.
• Manage lead times, quality issues, and delivery performance with vendors.
• Coordinate deliveries between procurement, warehouse, and production.
• Align material deliveries with project schedules and specs.
• Communicate with Project Managers about delays and expected dates.
• Follow up to restore schedules and implement corrective actions.
• Travel regularly to supplier sites.
