Nissan’s Decherd, TN internship offers hands-on experience in Raw Materials Engineering within a dynamic manufacturing and engineering setting. You’ll work with experienced professionals on real projects, focusing on process improvement, problem-solving, and operational excellence.

The program targets undergraduates in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, MET, or related fields, entering junior or senior year, with a 3.0+ GPA. On-site work in Decherd, TN is required.

Formación

• Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, MET, or related field.
• Students entering Junior or Senior year at the start of the upcoming term.
• GPA of 3.0 or above; transcripts may be requested.

Responsabilidades

• Identify opportunities to improve material utilization and support efficiency and sustainability.
• Troubleshoot material-related production issues with cross-functional teams.
• Participate in projects on cycle-time reduction, automated inspection, and robotics for part transfer.
• Conduct testing on raw materials and analyze results to meet quality standards.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve manufacturing processes, quality, and performance.
