Job summary

Mercury Marine invites energetic students to join as a Materials Engineering Intern in Fond du Lac, WI. You will support the Materials Engineering team by evaluating materials, components, and processes used in marine engines.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program with a materials emphasis.
• Ability to work full-time during May–August 2027.
• Two semesters of classroom lab experience in the major.
• Strong record-keeping and data management skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate lab equipment for experimental analysis (SEM, XRD, spectrometer).
• Prepare and process test samples using standard lab procedures.
• Document results and compose concise lab reports.
