Job summary

Carrier Global Corporation, a leader in intelligent climate and energy solutions, seeks a Materials Engineer to design and optimize material flows, packaging, and replenishment at a Carrier facility. You will support lean line-side presentation, NPI launches, and production ramp-up, while driving inventory efficiency and data-driven improvements.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree and 3+ years in materials- or logistics-engineering, with US work authorization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree.
• 3+ years of materials-engineering or logistics-engineering experience.
• Authorized to work in the United States; employer sponsorship not available.
• Preferred: Degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics or related field.
• Preferred: Experience designing material flows and line-side presentation systems.
• Preferred: Lean Logistics knowledge.
• Proficiency with design and analysis tools for logistics/flow.
• Experience supporting new production lines.

Responsibilities

• Designs material flows, picking routes, and line-side presentation systems.
• Defines packaging, containers, and material handling parameters.
• Implements pull systems (kanban) and replenishment loops.
• Supports warehouse design and logistics layouts.
• Supports NPI launches and production ramp-up activities.
• Analyzes and optimizes inventory and flow.
• Strengthen warehouse optimization and line-side material presentation responsibilities.
• Owns inventory optimization, replenishment performance, and material flow efficiency.
• Expands expectations around data analytics and continuous improvement initiatives.
