Job summary

PlanIT Group, LLC is seeking a detail-oriented dispatcher/expediter to join a fast-paced manufacturing environment in Florida. You will expedite, route, and dispatch materials to support production schedules and commitments, collaborating with stakeholders to resolve issues and maintain accurate records.

The role requires strong Excel skills, excellent communication, and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks while maintaining confidentiality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-2 years of experience in a customer service or related role.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
• Proficiency in Excel.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information, including LMPI.
• Demonstrate a strong team player mentality and willingness to assist colleagues.
• Open communication and transparency in all interactions.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure seamless operations and resolve material-related issues.
• Review master production schedule to identify potential and actual material shortages.
• Alert proper authorities of potential problems and take proactive measures to mitigate delays.
• Provide progress reports on assigned programs or areas through maintaining accurate records of orders.
• Expedite parts to different areas of the facility to maintain processes.
• Report on completion dates, material changes or substitutions, shortages, and schedule modifications.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of material movements, inventory levels, and production schedules.
• Be open-minded and receptive to new ideas and perspectives, with a willingness to adapt to changing priorities and procedures.
• Continuously seek ways to improve the material dispatch process, including suggesting innovative solutions and participating in process improvement initiatives.
