Job summary

Garmin is seeking a full-time Planner 2 at our U.S. headquarters in the Greater Kansas City area. You will manage semi-complex supply chain activities including materials planning, purchasing and manufacturing, while contributing to planning procedures.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s degree with at least two years’ relevant experience, strong communication skills, and solid knowledge of warehouse and manufacturing processes. CPIM/CPM certifications are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and minimum 2 years relevant experience.
• Strong understanding of warehouse, manufacturing and service processes.
• Professional verbal and written communication; cross-functional collaboration.
• Intermediate MS Office skills (MS Excel, Outlook, Teams).

Responsibilities

• Understands/owns accountability for department KPI’s.
• Evaluates data for decision-making and defines/commands supply chain processes in assigned area.
• Recognizes issues, explores solutions, and provides timely responses.
• Guides Planner 1 associates and plans daily workload with prioritization.
• Demand planning: gather data on product demand and advise forecast changes considering channel inventory and sell-through.
