Job summary

Builders FirstSource in Charlotte, NC is seeking a professional driver to load, transport and deliver materials to customer sites. You will operate non-CDL vehicles 10,001–26,000 pounds, secure loads and provide courteous service. The role emphasizes safety, log accuracy, DVIR/HOS compliance, and staying informed about orders.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and the ability to read and speak English. Training and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED completed; 21+ years old with valid license.
• Delivery experience desirable, especially with materials and equipment.
• Must pass MVR, obtain DOT medical card within 5 days of request, and read/speak English.

Responsibilities

• Load and securely deliver materials to customer sites and unload as needed.
• Verify orders, maintain logs of deliveries including weights and mileage.
• Serve as a liaison with customers and maintain vehicle safety and cleanliness.
• Use handheld devices to ensure DVIR and HOS compliance and follow safety procedures.
