Job summary

Professional Building Supply, a division of US LBM Holdings, LLC, seeks a Delivery Helper in Charleston, SC area to transport materials to job sites and assist with loading, unloading, and loading verification. You will engage with customers to ensure satisfaction and help maintain orderly yards and warehouse spaces.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience with delivery, material handling and/or warehouse required.
• Ability to do basic math, read orders, writes instructions and complete forms.
• Ability to effectively and professionally communicate with customers, other employees and supervisors using verbal and written skills.
• Knowledge and ability to use safe lifting techniques.

Responsibilities

• Operate safely.
• Check orders for accuracy.
• Deliver and unload materials to customer's satisfaction.
• Organize and secure load.
• Obtain approval on all loads from supervisor for proper count and conditions of load.
• Assist in loading/unloading and maintaining yard/warehouse housekeeping.
• Provide excellent customer service.
