Job summary

Myrtle Beach Building Supply, a division of US LBM, is seeking a Delivery Helper to load, transport and unload materials to job sites in Murrells Inlet and Little River, SC. The role supports drivers and yard staff, ensuring accurate orders and safe loads while delivering excellent customer service.

Required are a High School Diploma or GED and experience in delivery or warehouse settings. The position emphasizes safety, teamwork, and adaptability in a fast-paced construction supply environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience with delivery, material handling and/or warehouse work required.
• Ability to use basic math, read orders, and complete forms.
• Strong communication with customers and team members.

Responsibilities

• Operate safely.
• Deliver and unload materials to customers' satisfaction.
• Check orders for accuracy.
• Organize and secure load.
• Obtain supervisor approval on all loads.
• Assist in maintaining yard/warehouse housekeeping.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Relay messages from customers while on job.
• Assist supervisor and other employees as assigned.
• Assist driver in evaluating delivery site and navigate properties to avoid damage.
• Participate in and complete assigned trainings.
