Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Support warehouse operations related to inventory storage and space utilization.
- Operate equipment such as forklifts, lift-reach trucks/lifts, pallet jacks, and other related equipment.
- Assist in shipping and receiving functions, including receipt, picking, packing, and shipping activities, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation in SAP.
- Review stocking levels and generate reports on obsolete or restocked materials; advise on adjustments to minimum/maximum levels.
- Notify Warehouse Foreman of storage limitations and capacity concerns, and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Achieve safety, delivery, cost, and quality performance targets.
- Verify accuracy of inventory catalog numbers, descriptions, quantities, units, and locations; help resolve discrepancies.
- Conduct periodic physical inventories and collaborate with supply chain, operations, and project teams to optimize order fulfillment.
- Follow operating procedures and safety standards.
- Coordinate with logistics teams and suppliers to schedule pickups, deliveries, and routing.
- Implement inventory controls, procedures, and performance indicators for warehouse storage and requisition.
Must Haves:
- Extensive warehouse experience, including at least 7+ years operating forklifts with certification.
- Ability to operate 8000 lb to 30000 lb all-terrain forklifts.
- Customer-facing experience and effective communication skills.
- Self-driven and able to work independently.
- SAP experience.
- Location within 30 minutes of the facility (flexible).
- Own steel-toed boots.
- Availability to work aligned with warehouse hours.
- High school diploma is sufficient.
