Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is seeking a Materials Coordinator on the First Shift in Desoto, TX. Schedule: Monday-Friday 5:00am-1:30pm, pay $21.90/hour. The role focuses on slotting optimization, inventory accuracy, and on-site material movement.

You will use SAP or similar systems to maintain records, perform cycle counts, and coordinate relocations with operations to improve pick rates and efficiency.

Qualifications

• 0-1 years experience in data entry and/or dispatch.
• Proficiency with data entry and basic inventory records.

Responsibilities

• Analyze SKU velocity, dimensions, weight, and order frequency to establish optimal product slotting locations.
• Develop and maintain warehouse slotting plans that maximize storage efficiency and productivity.
• Monitor inventory movement and recommend slotting adjustments based on trends, launches and demand.
• Coordinate product relocations and warehouse re-slotting activities.
• Utilize WMS to manage inventory locations and maintain accurate records.
• Perform slot audits to verify compliance with slotting strategies and inventory standards.
• Generate reports on warehouse performance, slot utilization, inventory accuracy, and picking efficiency.
• Collaborate with operations to ensure efficient replenishments.
