Job summary

Yoh Services LLC in San Francisco seeks a Materials Coordinator for the SF/Mid Shift (10PM–6PM), Saturday to Wednesday. You will receive, verify, and repack merchandise, use handheld RF tools to enter data into the WMS, and support stock checks, cycle counts and physical inventory.

This role requires automotive industry exposure, DMS familiarity, and basic supply chain skills. You will label, put away, pick parts, and prepare shipping docs while maintaining safety and contributing to shop

Qualifications

• Automotive parts experience or exposure preferred.
• Experience with DMS software (CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds, Oracle JDE, Lightspeed) is a plus.
• Familiarity with pallet jacks; forklifts not required.
• Strong basic spreadsheet skills and ability to organize data.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unpack, verify merchandise and ensure accuracy.
• Use handheld RF tools to receive into WMS.
• Perform stock checks, cycle counts, and assist physical inventory.
• Label parts during put away, picking or shipping processes.
• Prepare items for shipping with proper delivery documents and records.

Job description

Materials Coordinator - SF/Mid Shift (10PM-6PM), Saturday - Wednesday.

Scope:

• Handle the following – Receive, unpack, check & verify merchandise/product ensuring accuracy.
• As needed take receiving exceptions.
• Utilize handheld RF tools to receive merchandise/products into WMS.
• Conduct the following – Stock checks, part # verification, Cycle Count, support physical inventory.
• Consolidate loads as required – Pack, Re-Pack, wrap product for shipping.
• Label parts during put away, picking or shipping process.
• Pick parts for order fulfillment, shipments, scrap requests, etc.
• Ensure orders/shipping materials are accompanied with proper delivery docs: Revised BOL, Manual tag, Packing slip, etc.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures & safety guidelines.
• Perform organization tasks to maintain a clean/safe work environment.
• Cross train to learn other warehouse functions.
• Fill requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or stock items & distribute items to production workers or assembly line.
• Always maintain accuracy, provide required reports, measurements, and logs to KPI guidelines.
• Expertise utilizing a warehouse ERP inventory system, Excel, shipping, receiving, safety management, materials handling, data entry, reporting, etc.

Required:

• Experience in the automotive industry in some fashion. Examples are Associates in automotive parts specialist, wholesale parts at dealerships, parts to service, body shop work, military, large automobile manufacturers, etc.
• Experienced in positions such as – parts advisor, parts specialist, inventory technician, materials handlers, parts coordinator, etc.
• Experience with a DMS (Dealer Management System) – CDK, Reynolds and Reynolds, Oracle JDE, Lightspeed, etc. (SAP experience would be great but not required).
• Experience and comfortability working around technicians.
• Experience and ability working with pallet jacks - Forklifts are not required.
• Experience with basic supply chain skills.
• Experience putting together spreadsheets and tables.
• Willing to put in extra work during down times by organizing the shop, stacking tires, disposing of tires, picking up deliveries, etc.
• Must be comfortable working as a team.
