Job summary

Lippert Components in Goshen, Indiana is seeking a Material Coordinator to ensure production has the materials needed and to resolve material issues promptly. You will retrieve or call for parts and work with the production team to determine root causes and actions.

The role involves entering data in the LCI Audit app, reporting BOM/print issues, and coordinating with consumption and inventory teams. You will support safety and quality while meeting production schedules.

Qualifications

• High school degree or GED; not strictly required.
• Forklift license offered/training provided for candidates.
• D365 experience or exposure preferred.
• Inventory control experience desired.
• Ability to read and interpret measurements and instructions.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Commitment to safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Investigate all material issues at plant level.
• Deliver all parts calls to the line.
• Enter all parts calls into LCI Audit app and report BOM/print issues.
• Support production with parts needed until release.
• Participate in Warehouse functions and observe safety requirements.
• Fulfills all material needs for production.
• Communicate material shortages to consumption and inventory teams.
• Complete daily part call sheets.
• Arrange delivery of part shortages.
• Collaborate with manufacturing managers and QC to address BOM/print inaccuracies.
• Report BOM/print inaccuracies to the consumption team.
• Identify and arrange return of extra parts to the material pad.
• Coordinate changes with consumption team to ensure timely part boxes.
• Inspect incoming part boxes for integrity before production.
• Monitor production rate via daily schedule for changeovers.
• Track scrapped parts and remove from inventory.
• Support front/back of line housekeeping with production.
• Return all material dunnage to material pad.
• Meet division metric requirements.
• Participate in morning meetings/safety huddle.
