Job summary

Responsibilities

  • 1) Coordinate with skill groups and shifts to ensure smooth transition of pacing items requiring parts and tooling.
  • 2) Act as a liaison between North State and the Customer for processing and approval of parts requiring expediting fees such as AOG or Priority.
  • 3) Inform supervisor/Project Manager of materials related concerns affecting delivery of aircraft.
  • 4) Interface with Customer Representatives to maintain continuous information flow on parts status and update ERP with tracking information.
  • 5) Monitor arrival status of ordered parts and expedite procurement issues with Purchaser/Receiving.
  • 6) Process part and tool requests in North State ERP System.
  • 7) Act as a Runner for HOT parts for time-sensitive maintenance tasks.
  • 8) Notify Purchaser and shipping of dates for parts sent for outside overhaul/repair.
  • 9) Coordinate with Customer and materials group for return of off units and provide shipping with pertinent information.
  • 10) Verify outside services on aircraft are completed and billed correctly.
  • 11) Work with Project Manager, Stores and Purchasing to disposition RTS Parts daily; request RMA if needed.
  • 12) Brief NSA Parts daily at morning/afternoon customer production meetings.
  • 13) Perform other duties as assigned.

Job description

Duties and responsibilities:

  • 1) Under the direction of the Program Manager the MC will coordinate with skill groups and shifts to ensure smooth transition of pacing items requiring parts and tooling.
  • 2) Acts as a liaison between North State and the Customer for processing and approval of parts requiring expediting fees such as AOG or Priority.
  • 3) Informs the immediate Supervisor and/or Project Manager of any materials related concerns which may affect the delivery of the aircraft.
  • 4) Interfaces with Customer Representatives to maintain a continuous flow of information on aircraft parts status including but not limited to alternate part numbers and tracking information to be updated into the ERP system and coordinates off unit dispositions to be sent out for repair in a timely manner.
  • 5) Monitor arrival status of ordered parts multiple times daily, coordinating with a designated Purchaser and Receiving personnel to expedite any parts procurement issues that are necessary.
  • 6) In conjunction with Maintenance, the MC shall process part and tool requests for production using the North State ERP System.
  • 7) Acts as a "Runner" for HOT parts related to time-sensitive maintenance tasks.
  • 8) Notifies the designated Purchaser and shipping department of all required dates for parts sent out for outside overhaul or repair.
  • 9) Coordinates with the Customer and the materials group for the immediate return of all off units removed during maintenance providing the shipping department with all pertinent information.
  • 10) Verifies all outside services performed on the aircraft have been completed and received in the computer system at the end of the check to ensure proper billing.
  • 11) Works closely with the Project Manager, Stores and Purchasing daily as tasks are closed to disposition all RTS Parts daily, including requesting an RMA to be created if necessary.
  • 12) Be prepared to brief all NSA Parts daily at the morning / afternoon customer production meetings.
  • 13) Performs other duties as assigned.
