Job summary

Nortech Systems, Inc. is seeking a Materials Coordinator to keep materials moving in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will handle shipping, receiving, inventory control, and data entry to support production of lifesaving products.

The role involves verifying material quantities, coordinating with transportation vendors, and ensuring documentation aligns with customer requirements. ITAR considerations may apply; U.S. citizenship or permanent residency may be required.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret product labels, instructions, and schedules.
• Accurate data capture using handwritten and digital formats.
• Ability to sort, organize, store, and transport materials timely and accurately.
• Experience with inventory control systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Execute shipping, receiving, and inventory control tasks.
• Review schedules and work orders to determine material requirements and priorities.
• Maintain FIFO inventory and perform cycle counts.
• Transact MRB material and transfer inventory per established processes.
• Prepare manufacturing assemblies for packaging and shipping and assist with scheduling shipments.
• Verify part numbers and quantities on orders and ensure shipping documentation is accurate.
• Maintain shipping/receiving records and input data into company systems.
