Job summary

Nortech Systems is seeking a Materials Coordinator to ensure materials move smoothly through the production process. You will read schedules, issue materials, and maintain FIFO inventory while coordinating with manufacturing and shipping teams.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or GED and be adept at reading instructions, recording data, and using electronic systems. This role is on-site in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and interpret product labels and work orders clearly.
• Must be able to listen and follow detailed instructions accurately.
• Must record information legibly in both hand-written and digital formats.
• Must sort, organize, store, and transport materials timely and accurately.
• Must use electronic devices and computing systems efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Read schedules and determine material requirements and priorities.
• Issue material to work orders and distribute to manufacturing.
• Maintain FIFO inventory and perform cycle counts.
• Coordinate material transfers between locations and cost centers.
• Prepare shipments and ensure correct documentation.
