Job summary

Mastronardi Produce Ltd. is seeking a Warehouse Materials Associate for a night shift (A2). The role supports the Materials Supervisor with daily material needs and inventory control in a refrigerated warehouse environment.

Responsibilities include stocking, counting, packing, shipping, and ensuring accurate documentation. A minimum of two years in materials and solid MS Office skills are required; a high school diploma is essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education preferred.
• Minimum two years in a Materials department is required.
• Shipping, receiving and inventory experience is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills and proficiency with MS Office are expected.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with good time management.

Responsibilities

• Keep stock organized and readily accessible.
• Reconcile inventory discrepancies and notify supervisor.
• Perform physical counts of inventory, including weekly top-seal counts.
• Operate vertical conveyor and move inventory with pallet jack and forklift.
• Load and unload trailers and delivery trucks.
• Fill and ship orders with accurate documentation.
• Ensure boxes are stored properly on trailers or upstairs.
• Monitor packaging to keep the warehouse floor clear.
• Pull and verify materials for packing samples (clam, boxes, bags, etc.).

Shift: A2 (Nights) Full time shifts: Sunday-Tuesday 6 pm - 6 am and half day Wednesday 6pm-12am

Primary Function:

The essential function of this position is to assist the Materials Supervisor regarding daily material requirements. The individual is responsible for a wide variety of duties including but not limited to this job description.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Keep stock organized and readily accessible.


• Reconcile discrepancies in inventories and notify supervisor of irregularities.


• Perform physical counts of inventory, including weekly top-seal inventory.


• Operate vertical conveyor.


• Move inventory to various locations manually by operating pallet jack, hand cart and forklift.


• Load and off load trailers and delivery truck.


• Fill and ship orders, ensuring accuracy of shipments and supporting documentation.


• Ensure that boxes are stored on trailers or sent upstairs.


• Monitor packaging on the floor with the goal of keeping the warehouse floor clear.


• Pull and verify all materials required for packing samples (clam, boxes and bags, etc.).


• High School Graduate, Post- Secondary education preferred.


• At least two years’ experience in a Materials department required.

Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required

• Shipping, receiving and inventory experience an asset.


• Be respectful and deal tactfully with customers, other employees and vendors.


• Strong organizational skills and proficiency with MS Office: Word, Outlook and Excel.


• Must have ability to effectively follow-up and handle multiple projects with strong personal time-management.


• Proficiency in use of English language with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally.


• Willingness to work independently, with minimal supervision and take ownership of job.


• Willingness to work with a high degree of professionalism and personal integrity.


• Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills. Need to be creative, adaptable and able to accurately work with a sense of urgency.


• Maintain all company information confidential and protect proprietary information.
