Job summary

Akkodis is seeking a Logistics Professional to support inventory, materials, and logistics operations in Santa Clara, California. The role is onsite for a 12-month contract with strong extension potential.

Responsibilities include managing cycle counts, coordinating inbound/outbound shipments, maintaining ERP/WMS records, tracking assets, and ensuring material availability with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in logistics, inventory control, warehouse operations, supply chain, manufacturing, or materials management.
• Experience with cycle counts, inventory audits, reconciliation, or asset tracking.
• Familiarity with ERP, WMS, SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar inventory systems preferred.

• Manage inventory accuracy through cycle counts, audits, and inventory reconciliation.
• Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, receiving activities, and material movement.
• Process inventory transactions and maintain accurate records in ERP or inventory management systems.
• Track and manage assets, materials, and equipment throughout their lifecycle.
• Partner with operations, engineering, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure material availability.
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, shipping issues, and material shortages.
• Support warehouse organization, material staging, and inventory control processes.
• Maintain compliance with operational, safety, and documentation requirements.

This role is ideal for candidates with experience in inventory control, shipping & receiving, warehouse operations, material handling, supply chain, or manufacturing support.
