Job summary

Vista Aircraft Maintenance Van Nuys is hiring a Materials Coordinator to support aircraft maintenance operations. You will source parts and materials, manage vendors, prepare quotes, and ensure on-time delivery while maintaining profit margins.

In this role you will handle purchase orders, perform receiving inspections to FAA standards, and maintain accurate inventory levels. A strong team focus and proficiency with MS Office are essential, with after-hours AOG support on rotation.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma required.
• Knowledge of corporate aircraft parts preferred (Gulfstream, Cessna, Bombardier, Embraer).
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Strong computer skills including Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Source parts and materials for aircraft maintenance and inventory.
• Establish/maintain relationships with vendors for best pricing and quality.
• Provide quotes internally and externally while ensuring profit margins.
• Manage purchase orders to vendors and suppliers.
• Monitor outside services to ensure on-time delivery.
• Pick up and deliver parts and materials as needed.
• Perform receiving inspection to FAA regulations and customer requirements.
• Process core returns to vendors.
• Ensure FAA regulatory conformity (calibration, certification, shelf life, quarantine).
• Perform regular inventory and cycle counts; maintain min/max levels.
• Assign and bill parts to work orders.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of parts department.
• Support after-hours On-Call (AOG) on rotation.
• Flexible schedule as required.

Join our team as a Materials Coordinator at Vista Aircraft Maintenance Van Nuys. We are an FAA-approved Part 145 Repair Station dedicated to providing comprehensive aircraft maintenance services. With a complete range of nose-to-tail care, we specialize in airframe, powerplant, and avionics maintenance, inspection, and repair for the Vista fleet.

Your Responsibilities

• Source parts and materials for aircraft maintenance and inventory.

• Ensure conformity with FAA regulatory requirements (Calibration, certification, shelf life, parts quarantine)

• Ensure accurate assignment and billing of parts to work orders.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of parts department
• Support after hours “On-Call” (AOG) support on a rotational basis as required
• Flexible schedule as required to meet the demand of the business.

Required Education And Experience

• HS Diploma Required
• Knowledge of corporate aircraft parts preferred. Gulfstream, Cessna, Bombardier, Embraer is a plus

The salary range for this position is $30 to $35+ per hour.
