Job summary

Air Products in Leetsdale, PA is seeking a Materials Coordinator to support logistics operations and ensure accurate shipment preparation.

You will pick and prepare parts, process material reservations in SAP, and coordinate shipments on a standard 8-to-5 schedule. This safety-sensitive role requires 2–5 years of material handling experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of material handling or logistics experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Forklift certification (or ability to obtain shortly after hire).

What You’ll Do:

• Pick and prepare parts accurately for shipment
• Process material reservations and Stock Transfer Orders (STOs) in SAP
• Monitor shared inbox for urgent and priority requests
• Coordinate same-day and emergency shipments
• Receive, label, and accurately stock material
• Support Shipping & Receiving operations (cross-trained role)
• Operate material handling equipment safely
• Maintain readiness to support critical needs, including on-call rotation

What You Bring / Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2-5 years of material handling or logistics experience preferred
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• SAP experience is a plus
• Ability to lift/move materials up to 50 lbs.
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Dependable, detail-oriented, and team-focused mindset
• Forklift certification (or ability to obtain shortly after hire)
• This is a safety-sensitive, plant-based role.

Location & Work Environment

Located within convenient commuting distance of downtown Pittsburgh. On-call rotation required once fully independent.
