Job summary

ELKO COMMUNITY HEALTH CENTER LLC is seeking a perioperative materials coordinator to manage supplies, equipment and inventory for surgical procedures. You will monitor par levels, place orders, coordinate with vendors and maintain records to ensure timely availability for patient care.

Qualifications

Key responsibilities include monitoring inventory and par levels, ordering and restocking supplies, coordinating with vendors, maintaining purchasing and product records, assisting with pricing and contract compliance, managing product recalls and backorders, accurately tracking patient charges, supporting cost-containment efforts, and providing timely support to physicians and perioperative staff.

Requirements

Required:

• High school diploma or GED
• Computer skills (eg, Microsoft® PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
• Knowledge of medical terminology and medical supplies

Preferred:

• Surgical technologist experience preferred
• Previous experience with materials management
