Job summary

ICON is seeking a Material Coordinator to support production inventory activities including receiving, stocking, kitting, and ERP transactions. The role involves following inventory processes and inspecting incoming material for quality and quantity.

The position requires 2+ years in a manufacturing warehouse or inventory environment, ability to lift 50 lbs, and endurance to stay on feet for extended periods. ERP/MRP experience is essential for day-to-day tasks at ICON.

Responsibilities

  • Follow inventory management processes and procedures.
  • Process incoming material from deliveries, inspecting for kind, count, and condition.
  • Stock material in warehouse locations, ensuring items are identified and owners notified.
  • Track, transact, and monitor materials inbound, outbound, cycle counting, POs and work orders in Netsuite.
  • Work with warehouse management to optimize warehouse picking.
  • Relocate material with facility and ERP system as layout changes.
  • Support implementation of inventory management software system.

Job description

ICON is seeking a Material Coordinator to work in a team environment to support all production inventory activities, including receiving, stocking, kitting, and ERP systems transactions and work orders.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Follow inventory management processes and procedures
  • Process incoming material from deliveries. Inspecting for kind, count, and condition.
  • Support communicating and stocking material in appropriate warehouse locations ensuring all items are effectively identified, protected, and owners are notified.
  • Track, transact, and monitor materials inbound, outbound, cycle counting, POs and work orders in Netsuite.
  • Work with warehouse management to optimize part of the warehouse for picking.
  • Relocation of material with the facility and ERP system as change to layout arises.
  • Support implementation of inventory management business software system
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • 2+ years experience in a manufacturing warehouse or inventory management environment. Communicate with supervisors and Team leads to determine material requirements
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
  • Able to remain on feet for extended time periods.
  • Have a detail oriented mindset to ensure part count accuracy.
  • ERP / MRP experience
