Job summary

Watts Water Technologies is seeking a Material Controller to support all aspects of the materials function at the Blauvelt, NY facility. You will receive, store, and manage inventory, coordinate replenishment, and assist across receiving, shipping, purchasing, and materials control activities.

This on-site role reports to the Warehouse Manager and emphasizes accuracy, safety, and continuous improvement. The role requires 2+ years in inventory or warehousing, a High School diploma, forklift

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• 2+ years' experience in inventory control, warehousing, purchasing, shipping, or related materials management functions.
• Experience working with computerized inventory and purchasing systems.
• Certified to safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts.
• Understanding of and adherence to applicable laws, codes, policies, regulations, and safety practices and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Receive, store, bin, and palletize inventory.
• Repackage materials as required.
• Protect inventory from damage, corrosion, and deterioration.
• Maintain inventory levels through rotation, replenishment, and restocking activities.
• Maintain accurate inventory location records within the inventory management system.
• Perform inventory replenishment activities.
• Conduct cycle counts and assist with inventory accuracy initiatives.
• Monitor inventory stock levels and take action when replenishment is needed.
