Job summary

Black & Veatch Corporation is seeking a Materials/Inventory Specialist to support project teams with receiving, inspection and storage of materials. You will maintain the Material/Inventory Management System and ensure accurate paperwork while coordinating with engineering and procurement for timely deliveries.

The role requires 3+ years of relevant experience, a focus on accuracy, and the ability to work on a construction site environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years relevant experience without a degree.
• Ability to pass pre-employment onboarding including background check, drug screen and driving records.
• Experience with material receiving, inspection, storage and issuance is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect project materials and equipment.
• Maintain and manage warehouse laydown areas and storage space.
• Ensure timely and accurate filing of material paperwork and system updates.
• Train staff on receiving, storage and maintenance procedures.
• Support procurement and engineering to ensure on-time deliveries.
