Job summary

Black & Veatch Corporation seeks a Field Materials Controller to support project teams with material receiving, inspection, storage, maintenance and issuance to keep the construction schedule on track.

You will coordinate warehouse space, ensure proper paperwork, and work with engineering and procurement to ensure timely delivery. Strong experience in material handling and inventory systems is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum five (5) years relevant experience without a degree.
• Pre-employment checks (criminal/civil background, drug screen, driving record) may be required.
• Relocation may be required.
• A related BA/BS degree is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Manage receipt, inspection and documentation of project materials and equipment.
• Coordinate with engineering and procurement to ensure timely delivery.
• Maintain storage laydown areas and ensure housekeeping and inventory accuracy.
• Operate and maintain the Material/Inventory Management System and report on metrics.
